ROME, PA – Sen. Gene Yaw (R-23) honored Northeast Bradford High School athletes for their recent PIAA District IV championships.
The Junior/Senior High School Boys’ Cross Country team, the Junior/Senior High School Girls’ Volleyball team, and the Junior/Senior High School Girls’ Cross Country team, along with their coaches in attendance, were presented with congratulatory citations. Gracelyn Laudermilch was also honored for her 2023 Individual Girls’ Cross Country, District IV championship title.
“It is so encouraging to see what these young athletes have accomplished,” Sen. Yaw said. “They showed us all that persistence and hard work pays off and I’m very excited to see what the future holds for those who will remain on this team, as well as for the seniors who are looking to participate at the collegiate level.”
The Boys’ Cross Country team won the district title with a score of 210, and the Girls’ Cross Country team with a score of 243. Girls’ Volleyball defeated North Penn-Liberty High School by a score of 3 to 1, to earn its first district title in program history.
