HARRISBURG – Sen. Gene Yaw (R-23) will host a solar development virtual forum with municipal officials in Lycoming and Union counties from 1 p.m. – 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28.
The webinar will begin with a brief virtual tour of grid-scale solar development occurring across the region, followed by a discussion about solar ordinance trends that have been successfully incorporated in Pennsylvania municipalities.
Penn State’s Marcellus Shale Center for Outreach Director Tom Murphy, Lycoming County Director of Planning and Research Community Development Shannon Rossman and PPL Distribution and Tariff Rules Supervisor Kimberly Gauntner will also participate in the event.
